Why Andy became a coach
After an epiphany moment in his mid-thirties, Andy decided to train as a coach. Having reached a certain level of so-called material success as a broker with his own global franchise, he realised he was unhappy, unfit, unhealthy and unfulfilled. Something needed to change. So he took a year out and travelled the globe to train with the world's best coaches, including the legend John Grinder. The cofounder of NLP - the man who trained Anthony Robbins. Andy’s mind was blown and his body transformed. He lost 42 lbs in weight, reversed his heart disease and quit alcohol. Armed with his new skills he returned to the world of broking and through coaching his teams he grew a new franchise seven times bigger in half the time.
Coaching education
Having left school at sixteen to become a professional footballer, Andy returned to university twice, part-time, so he could take his master's degree in Coaching & Positive Psychology. He passed with distinction. Having also trained as a mindfulness-based awareness coach and become a master practitioner of NLP, Andy is quite simply one of the most qualified coaches- globally.
After creating several successful coaching businesses alongside his busy broking career, Andy achieved his dream and finally escaped the golden handcuffs of his corporate career to focus full-time on his various business interests as a CEO, investor, mentor and coach.
He has now achieved his own definition of success:
To give back to others by doing what you love, with people you love being with.
